Hi all,
Last week we had a major internet connection lost in whole our country.
Everything is back to normal now only the monitoring module say different.
The most servers we monitor still let see a red bullet on the monitor page even the services on the servers running fine ea they are not down.
How can I solve this? Does this mean I need to deploy the agents again?
Kind regards,
René

Hey René,
Did you tried restarting the SysAid server service since the internet connection got back?
If not, you can try it, and if it doesn't work, you can try and restart the agent service on the monitored servers and it should connect again (although it should have regained connection without it).
If you are still having issues, please re-deploy the agent with debug log setting enabled and send us the logs as a service request so we can further investigate this issue.
Best regards,
Haim

Thanks for the reply.
I restarted the Sysaid server but that did not solved the problem.
I deployed the agents again but also no luck.
I'll depoy the agents again with the debug option.
We have Sysaid running on SSL. Can I set the agents on SSL as well or do I need to keep the agents on http?
Kind regards,
René

Configuring the agents on HTTPS can provide additional security, but it will require for the machine with the agent to accept the certificate.
We will be looking for your logs
Best regards.

Ok thanks Haim,
I'll keep the agents on http then. This way I know for sure the SSL is not the problem here.
Kind regards,
René

Rene if you are still around, was the ssl certificate the cause of you problems?

Hi I'm still here.
But we're closing our doors at the end of this month and I do not have the spirit anymore to fire up sysaid. I hope you can understand it.
You may close this topic.
Kind regards,
René

Rene,
If you are still looking for a job, perhaps someone within the forum is looking for an IT person in the Netherlands, so yoou can open a post about it and i can keep it as a sticky for a week or two.
I think we need to open a sub-forums for employments opportunities... hmm... someone posted that he needs a SysAid admin just a few weeks ago...

We have a very small branch in Amsterdam.
We administer 99% from our office here in Israel.
I wish I could say the oposite ... .
