I'm not sure if this has been resolved yet or not but we are able to install the agent on Windows 7 and Server 2008 however, we experience issues with the Monitoring aspect. The CPU usage is reading off the chart scottie!!
This is an error notification regarding the asset .
Test Type: Performance
CPU usage errors found.
Additional information:
CPU usage reached 45210200%.
Is this a known issue with the agent and Server 2008?
This issue was fixed in our last SysAid Agent version 6.5.
Please let us know which version of SysAId Server are you using and which version of SysAid Agent and if it's a 32\64bit server.

I have the same problem with 7.0.05 (also with previous versions the problem was active)
After contacting SysAid support they told me it would be fixed in a upcoming release.
But they did not tell me which release or when, maybe they can confirm it here?

Hello All,
We've recently upgraded SysAid to v7.0.04. The new agent just does not run for us and we have not deployed the new agent in our environment. I have noticed through my testing that we have the best outcome with agent version 6.5.07 on Windows 7 and Server 2008. That seems to be the best stable version for us... I believe we only have one problem-child server that is having issues getting monitoring information from using agent version 6.5.07 with SysAid 7.0.04 but we continue to have issues remote controlling Windows 7 boxes.

On another 2008 x86 with SP2 (not R2) server it reports the OS as: Windows Server "Longhorn" Unknown.
WMI query of Win32_OperatingSystem reports the proper OS. Not sure where is is getting those values from.
The same problem still in SysAid v7.5.05 Free with the v7.5.05 Agent - Windows 2008 Servers aren't recognized correctly. Will there be a fix for this problem in the near future?
