I upgraded to 5.5.06. Putting the admin_group field on the invisible tab (following tech guys suggestion) solves the problem. I still think this issue should be analyzed and solved.

upgrading to 5.5.06 fixed it for me too! Who forgot to mention this in the release notes for 5.5.06 ....  i would have installed it earlier had I known, I didn't bother because all it said it affected was cmdb and we don't use that module, (you know the old phrase "If ain't broke don't fix it"  )

Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know something about the CMDB module.
This is one of the coolest modules that we have and in the new version of SysAid (5.5.06) you are able not only to map your entire network assets but also have a graphical view of the connections between the various CI (I bet that you have seen screen shots of that in the forum).
Also, since CMDB is totally customizable, you do not have to use it only for the network mapping, you can use it for almost any department in your company, it eases the work so much with the amount of information it provides with simply one click.

We are only using the helpdesk. No tasks, no projects, no assets, etc. Therefore CMDB makes no sense for us.
Nevertheless the helpdesk system is just great. We found no other program which is as customizable and as well suited for our needs as SysAid. We love you guys

Does anyone have any new information on solving this issue (routing to admin groups when 'admin group' field is not visible in end user submit form)?
We had a custom submit-service-request.htm until now and routing was working. Now, since we could easily customize end user submit form, we started using the predefined submit-service-request.htm and routing stopped working. I found this post and added 'admin group' to the end user submit form. I had to add it to 'general details' tab, if I added it to another tab routing still didn't work.
This solved the problem but I don't like that the users can see that field. I thought this bug would be solved by now (we are using v7.5.03) or are we the only ones who have this problem still.
