Thanks for the quick reply but you've misunderstood what I'm trying to do. I'm not using a login script - I'm wanting to know the value to put into the Transform file. Is the process the same to determine the assigned hotkey - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ilient\Agent]?

I have changed the hotkey to CTRL-F11 on my user account but in the above registry key it still says 122 - which it can't be as that is F11 on its own.

Any other ideas?

Many thanks.

Hello Chucky.

The value for CTRL+F11 is 137, i checked it by doing the same procedure as i provided in the previous post.

Best regards.

Thanks Haim,

I managed to do the same yesterday but for some reason on our system the CTRL+F11 short cut equates to 634 decimal. It does work and it's been deployed to machines so maybe there are two values?

Thanks for your assistance with this though.

Chucky

Sorry for misleading you, the correct value is indeed 634 (i mistakenly deployed with a different hot key)

Please try to restart that machine after the re-deployment, in some cases it's required so the hotkey change will reflect.

Best regards.

A quick add to this discussion:

While haim's method is definitely doable, there is an easier way to get the combination you want.

Locate the values you want to use in the microsoft virtual key codes table. Available here http://bit.ly/d9I9eL

OPen calculator in scientific mode and select the HEX radial.
enter your first hex value
+
enter your second value
=
the key code needed.

If you dounbt the method, open calculator, set dec radial and enter 122
then switch to hex radial. the value will match microsofts table.

CTRl + F11 = 8B Hex and 139 Dec.
