Aha! You have quite the taste! I was about to say, the irish are not really people to calm you down! Especially in a pub sing-a-long. Or a rugby match!

Ack !!!
We got many hooligans imposters here... police always got their hands full in local soccer matches. Even when the match end up with a bloody tie !!!
Hence the stress on "sisters". *smile*

I agree the Corrs sisters are lovely, although I can't see the brother putting up much of fight, he spends all his time with 3 women! Never mind sex or country of origin, the fact is there music is quite beautiful!
*wipes one solitary tear from his eye*

Yess... there's something about irish music I couldn't explain. But it appeals to me so strongly.
Maybe am a highlander in my past life.
*braveheart kinda grin*

As for the beauty.. *sigh*
They simply confirm my long time belief... that women don't have to be blond to look stunning.
My fav is Sharon, the violinist.

Slightly off topic, but i am enjoying the discussion anyway! I would also really recommend Gavin DeGraw. Fantastic foot tapping music to work to!

You've got good taste!

I listen to whatever pops up on last.fm. Since im working relatively close to 4 other people, I dont listen to the same music that I listen to at home (Dream Theater, In Flames, all kinds of prog rock, prog metall, heavy metal, nu-metal, heavy rock etc)

So I usually just search up any "soft rock / punk"-bands that I can find and listen to it (Angels and Airwaves, SR-71, Foo Fighters, Panic at The Disco etc) Even though metal and rock is my "main" music, im fairly open to all kinds of music.

The Foo Fighters are great! Other music that gets me moving - The Fray, Razorlight, The Killers, The Stone Roses, Chemical Brothers, Keane, Powderfinger (go aussies ). If it's a relaxed day then it's the likes of Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, David Gray or Kruder & Dorfmeister. And I can never go wrong with Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and folk in general. World, classical, arabic and latin sounds also work for me, particularly in high stress times. With over 4000 songs on my ipod, I could be here all day so I'll stop

nothin settle me down better than dire straits. They have some accurate rhytm, every band member knows when to come in exactly.

I also enjoy ramstein and their funny stuff!

But most of my workin time i just listen to whatever is on Frisky Radio on shoutcast

for me its CLAPTON CLAPTON AND MORE CLAPTON FTW!!! (Eric clapton not the other dude) cant go past sitting in my office with his live concert DVDs running off in the background or listening to some of his many albums. i rarely listen to anything else. on probably one other occasion i think i may have listened to direstraits (Sultins of swing FTW!!) it keeps me some what relaxed. i can be a bit of a rager at times so it helps.
