I am not up on this technology either, I new of its existence so I took a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_vPro
It sounds very similar to Compaq/HP's server feature ILO (Integrated Lights out management) except that it is for desktops.

vPro is a chip by Intel that provides support for software and hardware inventory management. The vPro chip allows remote access to your network, even to machines that are turned off.
If you have a vPro chip installed on your network assets, you can use SysAid
to control your network even when you are not in the office.
1. In the SysAid administrator portal, please go to System > Asset List.
2. Click on an asset from your list that has the vPro chip installed.
3. A new page will open with the details of that asset. Go to the vPro tab, which is the last tab in the asset page.
4. Enter the appropriate credentials and then click on OK / Apply to allow control of that asset via SysAid.
To learn more about Intel vPro, please refer to http://www.intel.com/business/vpro/.

Ok i finaly have it working.
Adam thank you you are right.
but you have forget the part on the computer site this is the big fusseling around.
but finaly i found a white paper on how to set the bios of the computer and now i have vpro in Sysaid up and running.
communities.intel.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/2023-1-1407/Setup-and-Configuration-for-Dell-755-Small-Business.pdf
you can switch on the computer , switch off the computer, reboot it, view all kind of spec's off the computer.
with other tools from Altiris, RAdmin,Dell and Intel you can set the computers bios or even acces the files even when the OS is not starting at all.
so this could be a help full feather.
note that not all hardware will support Vpro you can only use this with some intel cpu's and networkcards.
Edwin.
