JAVA.EXE processing HIGH Mem Usage!?!?!?!?!  XML

Hi,

After dedicating a PC to SysAid Server, i noticed that i know have a JAVA.EXE processing in Windows Task Manager. Is this normal and is it normal to process high mem usage?

java.exe is a part of SysAid and it can take up to 130mb RAM or so... how much does it take on your station?

Hi Tzvika,

Sometimes i notice it being 200MB of Mem Usage, which worried me. But i feel much better now.

Hey Mit08 ,

The Java process can grow up to 256 MB in the default installation.
The memory usage of this process can vary based on the actions the server is asked to preform (active users, agent reporting, monitoring ect')

Should I be expecting 856MB+ on a win2k8 server Helpdesk pro install with only 200+ assets?
I have 3GB of memory installed but it does seem to lag the server (there are no deployment currently going on) so what is eating up all the java?
Just wondering.

Mine uses around 200mb with about 400 assets.
