Question:
Some Microsoft Office shortcut tips that may save you precious time

Answer:
This tip should save some of you a few seconds per action in Microsoft Office!
Depending on how often these actions reoccur for you, it can add up and be a true time saver!!

So here we go:

UNDO:
Who isn't familiar with the magical undo button that simply undoes your last action? We all use it, and the ones who encounter it for the first time usually say "WOW!!".
Using the keyboard shortcut CTRL Z performs the same Undo action - instead of using the mouse to search for and click the small icon. This will afford you a second or two in time savings. By the way, CTRL Y performs the Redo function.

Some formatting tips - Bold, Underline and Italic:
CTRL B for turning bold on and off, or switching the highlighted text between bold and normal
CTRL U does the same for underlining
CTRL I for Italic

Want to quickly enter Trademark Copyright or Registered symbols?
Alt Ctrl C will insert the copyright symbol
Alt Ctrl R for the registered trademark symbol
Alt Ctrl T for the trademark symbol

Erase a full word at a time:
Using the CTRL Backspace will erase full words vs. a letter each time.

One of my favorites is the quick scroll on paragraphs:
Pressing the CTRL button together with the up or down arrows lets you scroll an entire paragraph at a time, instead of one line at a time.
(Combine the Shift key with the above to select the entire paragraph - CTRL SHIFT UP/DOWN)

How about if you press 'Caps Lock' without noticing, look up and you find whole lines of UPPER CASE WRITING:
Just select the text and press 'Shift > F3' and hey presto, it just changes case, saves having to retype it.
