Notice the field on services (Parent ID, Service child) but never know how to use them ? What are they for ?
Thanks in advance.

That is not a bug, it's a feature...

Hello Obelix.
The parent/child field allow you to connect several service requests one to the other.

Lets say you have a user that opened several service requests on the same issue, you can connect all the service requests to one "parent" service request so you won't lose any information that might be present in the child requests.

You can also connect several requests from different users with the same question, and then send the answer from the parent and in the "send message" window, you can check the "Send to all the child requests of this Service Request" checkbox so you only need to send one answer, and it will be sent to all the users that are connected.

Hi,

New CSS on demand user ... exactly how do you use this feature?

I looked at it and it said Parent and had an empty box next to it. What do I put in the box?
Under it, it had child, but there was no way to interact with it or add a value to it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bowman,

In order to use this feature all you need to do is write the number of the Parent ticket in the box and click apply or ok.

Best Regards,
Itay
