Here is a better version of the dutch translation. It's not complete yet but there are a lot of fixes.

Hi all this is my first post!

I see the dutch translation but for some reason i cant install it by uploading it threw the translate pannel of my sysaid server. It doesn show up in the selectbox. Am working and searching for answers for like a few days and i dont get it why the dutch translation is not getting picked up. Its getting a bit frustrated...

Its just downloading the dutch translation file and upload it to your sysaid server ...right? Sounds like ease but wont work for me!

What am i doing wrong?

Am using a free license of sysaid 7.5 and downloaded the above translation file.

Let me know if you got the answer of my situation here!

thanks.

It is essential to open the file in Notepad and then to save it as UTF-8

(Dus: Kladblok --> Opslaan als --> Codering geen ANSI maar UTF-

Ok I have tried but still can not select translation NL.

SysAidServer \ root \ WEB-INF \ classes there is only the English translation and the only one I can select.

In one way or another, it cant upload the file.

Even when I manually copy the NL-se translation in the SysAid directory it still can not display and can therefore not be selected.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You also have to select the default language for the user ...

So I needed to change 2 options to get Dutch (or any other language) working:
1) Preferences, Account Defaults, Available Languages
2) Preferences, My Settings, Language

And the current dutch language file is very poor
But seems a lot of work to translate all...

PS .. you just do it from the client (web-browser), no need to upload file to server (the web application will do this for you).

Thanks Matthys70

But when i cant upload the translation file in the first place it wont be recognize by SysAid at all. I cant select NL translation in the selectbox:
- customize, translate
- Preferences, Account Defaults, Available Languages
- Preferences, My Settings, Language

Even when manually uploading the translation file it wont be recognized by SysAid.

I also had difficulties to upload the file from a remote computer. Uploading it on the Sysaid Server itself (localhost) did the trick for me.

So:
Main Menu
Customize
Translate
Browse to the file. Beware that the downloaded file is not UTF-8! You do need to open it in Notepad and save-as UTF-8 encoded!
Then you should be able to upload it...

Ik gebruik windows server 2003 legaal en is helemaal up to date.
