Looks like most of the responses have multiple admins, so I need some advice...
I'm curious how you handle the port forwarding required for so many admins when using RC.
I will soon face this issue of adding more admins for support, and forsee the only option to statically assign an IP address to each machine they will use, and forward a different port for each of those machine. Thus having a port associated with a particular IP and each admin having to remember which is 'their' port for RC.
Am I looking at doing this the hard way, or is there a simpler way to solve this issue?

51 check scanners
51 locations in 8 states
2 help desk

My wife wonders why I'm exhausted and tense all the time. The insurance and benefits are great and we make about 20% more than the annual Tech Republic Salary review.

Myself and a part time admin support 239 users (thank you sysaid for that number) at 8 sites covering 5 counties in southeast Michigan USA and just as many computers plus network hardware, servers, phones etc. There are 5 other I.T. staff, but they are not helpdesk oriented staff. Director, DB Admin, etc. But they do help out when needed.

Me as the Service Desk (L1 & L2) support.
Supporting 7 sites so far (more contracts added on a weekly basis)
Anywhere between 200-400 users I believe.
Only about 50 or 60 machines though. Which is nice.
Oh, and I have to use a service desk tool - hence why I'm here.

Hey guys,
I am thinking like an expert IT help-desk user can go up to 500 assets (or workstations i mean) with sysaid or another help-desk/asset management/monitoring software.
What you think?
