We have an alias email address being forward to the email within SysAid to automatically create requests. But we would like to ignore (avoid un-neccessary SysAid requests created) so of the requests that come in via that alias, do not get created. Is there a way to accomplish this either via headers or something else? Has anyone incounter this issue?

Thank you,

Mit08

Inside the Preferences > Integration > Email section, there is a field called "Ignore emails with subject match to (regular expression)" so you can ignore by subject.

However, it sounds like you want to ignore all emails from this Alias, if that is correct, why not just remove that Alias from the helpdesk?

If I haven't understood or helped at all please come back to me and I will try and help again! :-p

Hi BJINS,

I saw that choice under Integration, but how can i have more than one subject ignored? Do i use the ";" symbol or can you only ignore one subject overall?

Thank you,

Mit08,

All the suggestion here are grate.
At the moment SysAid doesn't allow you to filter by email address.

Why don't you filter this email in your exchange server?
It will block the email from reaching your SysAid Server and open any SR.

Itay
