Hello. I have created a new admin account and the user name is in cyrillic. The encoding is OK, but now I want to delete it. Impossible... A new message appear -
Are you sure you want to delete the user(s)? (????1) <- name in cyrillic (correct encoding)
YES
Transfer all duties of %u0442%u0435%u0441%u04421 to... <- same name in cyrillic (incorrect encoding)
... and the name of the admin, that I want to delete is with wrong encoding... And I cannot delete it...
What should I do?

Hello, and welcome to the SysAid community.
Can you please tell me which version of SysAid are you using? this can be seen on the top bar in SysAid.
Also, please tell me if Cyrillic characters are showing properly in other places on the system or all Cyrillic characters are not showing properly?

Everywhere Cyrillic is OK, except into the second message pop-up-ed when you want to delete administrator...

Hello, sorry for my late answer - we are using derby database, utf-8 encoding. We have this problem ONLY when we are trying to delete Administrator with username in Cyrillic... The system ask to whom to transfer his duties, the Admin's name is quoted in this system message, but the encoding ONLY for the Admin's name is wrong - symbols, but not in Cyrillic... The system cannot identify such Admin and that's why the system doesn't remove his account.

Can you tell, what encoding for default user? What encoding for current user, from which you want to delete Administrator.
In table 'sysaid_user' you may delete a record with user_name 'administrator', because it is easiest decision.
Do you use Russian Interface? I suppose, that Sysaid can not support more than one languages.

Everywhere we are using uft-8 encoding - otherwise all text are monkey' symbols. We don't use Russian interface, but Bulgarian. I'm logged as Main Administrator.
So, all I need is to avoid the system question to which admin I want to transfer the duties of those I want to remove.
And I promise to do not use Cyrillic for admin's usernames

try to set your Language Russian - in my settings (you'll see English interface), and then delete Administrator account.

It doesn't matter... the admin name is still incorect encoded on the system message, cause the username is in Cyrillic - тест1
Could you please try something - add new admin and set the user name in Cyrillic. Then try to delete it and share with me the result Thanks
