Menu Bar Options
Top menu bar
The top menu bar displays on all pages in SysAid. It gives you general information about SysAid, and gives you several navigation options.

It shows the version of SysAid you are using and whether you are using SysAid Free Edition, Pro Edition, or Enterprise Edition. It also shows your account ID, and which user you are currently logged in with.
In addition, there are five icons that give you various navigation options:
This icon takes you to the administrator's home page. Admins with access to the Manager Portal go there. Admins without access to the Manager Portal are taken to the Admin Portal instead.
This icon takes you to the End User Portal. Typically, administrators don't need to use the End User Portal. However, they might still want to look at it in order to better understand what end users have access to.
This icon opens the Send Message page, which you can read more about here.
This icon opens the SysAid help files, known as the Online Aid. This icon is context sensitive, meaning that the page in the Online Aid that opens depends upon the page in SysAid where the admin clicks the icon. Each page in SysAid has its own corresponding page in the Online Aid. The page you are reading now is also part of the Online Aid.
Click this icon to log out of SysAid.
Upper menu bar
There are several icons on the lower menu bar that appear on all SysAid page. These icons are connected to navigation within SysAid.

Use the Forward/Back buttons to navigate to SysAid pages you've visited in this SysAid session. These are just like the forward/back buttons in your browser window.
The Recent Items button shows you a list of the last 10 numbered SysAid entities you've viewed. Examples of numbered SysAid entities are service records, assets, CIs, Tasks, etc.
Note: If you create a new item, such as a service record, it will show up in the recent items lists as soon as you hit Save or Apply.
