End User Portal

View Service Record Details

 

This page shows you the details of a service record you have previously submitted. Based on the way SysAid has been configured, you may add notes, add attachments, and even close the service record.

 

 

To add a note, click Add a note, enter the note in the window that opens, and click Add. Your note will be visible to your helpdesk technician the next time he or she opens the service record.

 

To add an attachment, click the Add button. In the window that opens, choose one or more files and then click Attach Files.

 

To close a service record, check the box Close a service record and then click Submit.

 

You may use the export to .csv (Excel) icon to export the service record to Excel.

You may use the print to .pdf icon to export to .pdf for easy printing or to save locally on your computer.

How can this screen be customized? Ours does not list "Description"

If you would like a field to appear on this screen, it must appear in the EndUser list view under Service Desk --> Incidents (Enterprise) or Help Desk --> List (Pro). Note that not all fields that you add to the EndUser view will appear on this page, and the order of the fields that appears is predefined.

Add the "Description" field to the EndUser view and it will appear on this page.
