Hi,

I have noticed that when trying to view my network assets under "Asset Management" the refresh / loading process takes about 6 to 8 seconds. This does not happen when browsing the other SysAid menus. Is there any maintenance that needs to be done, please advise.

How many assets are you running Ola? I would imagine that it is because with a high number of assets there is a lot more information to load than most of the other screens which is causing this slow-down. Not sure whether there is anything you can do about that...

We have about 150 assets using IE7. Is there any maintenance that would need to be done so that is process the information much faster? Has anyone else encounter this type of issue?

Hi Ola,

Please try different browser like FireFox and let us know if it helps. Also you can change the amount of assets displayed in one page (Preferences > Customize > Appearance) to reduce the time it takes SysAid Server to load the information.
If you don't want to install another browser please update your IE to 8 (note the you can't go back to 7).
If it is still slow, please recreate the issue and upload ...\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\logs\sysaid.log immediately for us to review.

Hate to open an old can of worms (theyd be a bit smelly now....) but I have a similar issue.

Running SysAid 7.5.03 - have tried with FireFox and IE9 and both stall when displaying the My Network Assets list - We do have approx 500 assets but these are broken into seperate groups so the initial listing is approx 20 groups.

Can live with it, but would be nice to have it as fast as the rest of SysAid

We have 570 assets here. 9 out of 10 times I can pull the full list up (My Network Assets) in about 2 seconds. running 7.5.05 Pro+ IE8. I don't bother with firefox as it takes like 2 minutes to open on my machine no matter the version.
