Some of our users server/login information are not sticking. All have tour`s, OS 5.0.0.732

Any suggestions?

Are you using SysAid Server v7.0.05?
Are you using SSO?
Do they have special characters in the user name or password?

I installed your app on my BB 9650 (OS 5.0 - VZW) and connected it to our server w/o problems (after upgrading to 7.0.0.5 on the server).

The only problem I have so far is being unable to change the "Request User" on a SR from the mobile interface. Pressing on the button has no effect.

Otherwise, great app!

Hi dcdude,

Sorry for the late response.

Please login to SysAid using the browser on your Blackberry and try to do the same change on the SR and let us know if it's working.

I was able to recreate the issue on our test Blackberry and I'm forwarding this to our development department.

Yes.
No.
They had letters (and caps) and numbers, I had them switch it to all lowercase no numbers- however its not sticking.

The odd thing is again, some people work AOK, others not.

BB running on OS 5.0.x should be able to connect SysAid version 7.0.05.
Did you try to login to SysAid using the BB browser ? just to make sure there is no connectivity issues...
No need to use http://servername:pot/M. Just type your SysAid browser URL.

In case you will be able to login, Please try to reinstall you BB app ( In case you haven't try this already ).

Here's my update on SysAid for BB :

1. Every time the apps starts, the logon screen reverts to mobiledemo.sysaid.com with mobile as username.
2. When viewing the incident list, that's all I can do. I can't select any incident to view its detail. I can only scroll through the list
3. In the search screen, I can type in the 'Full Text Search' and 'Search SR by ID' fields but the 'Search' and 'Search SR by ID' buttons do nothing when I click on them.
4. When creating a new incident, the only category drop down list working is the main category. The sub-category and third level category fields are always empty (beside Please select ...). The 'Change' button for Request user does nothing (like Search). Neither does the Ok, Cancel and Apply buttons. In short, I guess you can say I can't create incident from my BB.
5. In assets, I used to get a blank list now I get 'Request Entity Too Large' on top of the screen and nothing else. I have over 3000 assets stored in SysAid.

I guess it's safe to say the app isn't working very well for me.

I'm at version 1.1.2 of the app.
My Blackberry is a Curve 8330 and my OS is at level 5.0.0.580.
My SysAid server is at level 7.0.05.

Quick question. Have you tried in with the new Torch? We should be changing our Curves for Torches in the next few weeks (hopefully days).

Got my new Torch (9800) since last week and I've installed SysAid on it. Here's my finding :

1. Like for my old Curve, every time the apps starts, the logon screen reverts to mobiledemo.sysaid.com with mobile as username. Kinda annoying.
2. Unlike for my Curve, I can now view and create new incidents without any problem. Woohoo!
3. I still get 'Request Entity Too Large' and nothing else when trying to view assets. I have over 3000 assets stored in SysAid.

Hi all,
I have problem with connect to SysAid from my Blackberry.
Version SysAid - 7.0.05 free.
I use Blackberry Storm 2 9520. Version OS - 5.0.0.713.
When I connect to server from BB


If I connect from PC. All is working.

Any update on this? Can't use the mobile app at all, same issue as Karasic.

Using Blackberry 9800 (Torch)

I tried connecting to the server via the browser and it was fine, except for the screen size.

I tried using the app but received the following Login Error. "The SysAid server you are connecting to must be 7.0 or higher."
