Hi all off you iPhone users, myself included
Please note that in order to connect to SysAid Server using the SysAid App you must have SysAid Server v7 installed.
Currently we are working to fix 2 issues we know of:
1. Can't connect if you are using SSO.
2. Special character in the credentials.
We hope to update you with good news very soon.

7.0.05 of Sysaid was released earlier today, which did in fact correct the issues with the iPhone app not connecting correctly for me at least. http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/5168.page

Hi,
An update on this.
SysAid Helpdesk App for Iphone has just been released and is available in the App store.
Those of you who installed version 1.0 , can simply get the update via the App store under updates.

Very pleased that it is able to connect now, it works for me but the thing that doesn't work is the filter. I tap on the filter line and it brings up the various filters you can have - tapping any of them briefly highlights the line and then doesn't do anything. Other things seem to work, I can get into service requests and stuff like that, so it's not that none of the links work.
Glad it's nearly there though... good to be able to submit a SR from a roaming position

Hi ,
Finally i am able to connect . Thanks for that.
However incidents are listed randomly with an option to arrange them by date. Also filters are not working.
Is there any solution for this

Hi lefrinj, Are you using Tomcat\IIS? Are you using SSO? I wasn't able to recreate your issue. When I clicked on the filter it showed me the options, I clicked on the Status and it showed me the available options, I choose the open and it saved it. Then, I clicked on Assigned to and choose one of the admins and it worked fine. Please answer my questions so we can further investigate it.

still not working for me. sysaid 7.0.0.5, app 1.1.
Has anyone in the community got this working in a multidomain environment ie using a domain\username format for the username?

ok, have setup a test server. this now works with the iphone app but it does not have single sign on enabled, nor it it in a multi domain environemnt so i think this has to be where the probelm is.
Are there any logs i can check that show the iphone trying to authenticate to prve where the issue is?
