Hello SysAiders!
You invested the time in creating an extensive knowledge base for your SysAid users and administrators?
Do you think that others can benefit from your knowledge base items?
Starting version 5.5 SysAid allows you to share your knowledge base items with other SysAiders around the world.
To upload your knowledgebase items, please go to helpdesk > Knowledge base
Click on "Export knowledge base items to forums" on the top bar.
In the new window, please check the knowledge base items you would like to share and click on "Export to forums" to upload the items as a forum post.
To import a knowledge base item, simply click on the icon and you it will automatically open your SysAid and prompt you to update the knowledge base.
Got any questions? please post them below.

I am having problems Downloading Items from the online Knowledgebase. Nothing seems to happen. I have also tried uploading an item and get the following error "Uploading to SysAid community has failed. => Connect" in red.
I use a proxy server, any ideas?

We currently do not support connection from local sysaid to community through a proxy server (Only direct connection allowed).

I've tried uploading items and nothing seems to happen either. We are not using a Proxy. I check the items I wish to upload, then select the upload icon. The page just sits there, and the items are not uploaded

From the End User Port in Preferences, I select the icon to download knowledge items. Thius opens a web page at the knowledge site but I do not see any way of downloading the knowledge items. I am logged into the site when trying. Can you give me some help please

I found that the upload would not work if i had the KB tab open or with sysaid open in a browser at all. Try closing any browser windows with sysaid open. I had a credentials conflict multiple logins error.

Hi all,
I found that I can download perfectly to my locally installed SysAid (127.0.0.1 free version) but not to the server installed full version. Settings and access to internet are identical. User settings are the same. Can anyone explain this difference?

Does the KB download work with the free version of SysAid?
It does not work for us. And we don't use a proxy server.
When in SysAid, I click on the icon to import from the forum, and all it does is bring me to the forum, and nothing else happens.
