How about including the admin's name? I'd like to include the "Assigned To" in the email but want to use the First (and maybe Last) name rather than the user name. What are the variables for first & last name? BTW I just added the "solution" hack above earlier today before coming across this post. My code seems to work fine but leaves out a small part:
This request has been asked before what we did is that the filed you already have currently displaying assign admin user name will display his first name & last name instead of the user name.
So I could not give you a text that needs to be added.
But this will be available only on our next SysAid version.
To keep updated with this issue you could other send us an email to our helpdesk with the issue # we will keep you posted as soon as this will be available or look for the issue number on our new version release notes when it will be available to make sure it is apart of this release.

Hi,
Im using;
Assigned To: ${AssignedTo}
That gives the domain\username in the e-mail body to the enduser. What variable shall i use to get the full name (Firstname Lastname) of the assigned administrator?
This option is not available in 5.6 but we have added the option to change the name the "assigned to " tag in version 6.
The official release of version 6 should be in a few weeks.
