Is there a way to recieve an email when someone installs any software not approved by the IT department? I want the email to say the Asset and the time that it was done. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi OTTO,

You can make by going to asset management => notifications.
Choose the needed event and a preconfigured notofication.

Be aware ! This will send you and email about every update you have or will have that is not configured in the software products !!!
Go to your software products, make a new entry and choose all the non relevant software to this entry.

I haven't done that but in the beta stage one of the testers got HUGE amount of emails.

If you need more help let us know.

It starting to seem like its not worth it. I dont have time to sit down and keep that up to date.
