Hi,
Does anyone know how to disable the F11 hotkey when using the independent download for the agent? I know how to disable using the deploy tool, but I need to know how to turn it off for users who are not using the deploy tool.

Hi Jen.
You can change the F11 hotkey in the shortcut properties of SysAid agent that is on the client's desktop. After you have done that to eliminate the previous assignment do the following:
Go to control panel, Regional and Language options, Advanced Tab, and check the box at the bottom "Apply all settings to the current users account and default user profile". Once that is processed, the F11 key should begin to function normally with the previous application. If the assignment wasn't restored yet, then Log out and Log in to Windows or simply restart the client machine.

Is it possible to change this by using ORCA to edit the MSI file?

Yes it is. Open the MSI file and go to Property. There you'll find all parameters.

In order to customize your SysAidAgent.exe we will need several details.
You are more than welcome to open a service request at http://helpdesk.ilient.com.
Please provide us the following details:
1. Your server URL
2. Your account ID
3. Serial key for your account
You can find all the above at Preferences > Download.
4. sysaid.ver from ....\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\conf
We will generate for you a new exe file according your design.
Please don't forget to mention the parameters you wish like: Include HotKey , Enable Remote control, etc...
