Hello to all sysaider,
I install to some of workstation thru deploy tools and successfully intalled, but when i look on my asset list it is not included.
I try to restart my PC for the reason that it is not yet replicated but still nothing.
Can any one help me to view this workstation on my asset list?

Try running the agent on the workstation to be sure it it actually setup properly. If it is missing the server url, ID, and license key then it will not be running or work on the workstation. I made that mistake too the first time.
If you use the online way to deploy, Asset Management > Network Discovery, you can pre-define that information and then run it. Although for some reason that doesn't work for me. I installed SysAid on a Windows server and all my workstations are Macs. The Mac agent must not be on the SysAid server to deploy cause it fails stating it can't find the path.

Hi cris,
For proper communication, the following ports must be opened between the deploying computers and the
clients:
TCP 139
TCP 445
UDP 137
UDP 138
UDP 8193 (for seeing agent information in the deployment tool)
After the agent is deployed, only port 8193 needs to be kept open. The other ports are only used in the deployment process.
The SysAid agent will communicate with the server on the port selected during SysAid server installation (8080, by default).
Next time, instead of restarting your pc you can restart the SysAid Agent service.
In order to know if the Agent reported to your SysAid Server please open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ilient\Agent > FirstTime, if it's Y it means that it didn't reported to the server. If it's N, change it to Y and see if it will appear in the asset list.

Best Regards,
Itay |
