Good Morning,

My manager asked me to find out how many computers have Internet Explorer 8 installed. It causes problems with one of our web-based systems.

I added it to the Software Products and searched for its various iterations such as Windows Internet Explore 8, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, etc.

It appears to retrieve from all of the computer running Windows XP. However, our manager's computer has Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8, but it does not appear on our Software Products page.

We are currently using the v. 7.0.05 agent.

Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

I'm using SysAid 7.0.05 with the same agent. I have a windows 7 with IE8.
I was able to recreate your issue but then I saw that when I changed the search key to "Microsoft Internet Explorer" which is the one listed in my software list and I found more versions and now my pc is listed also in the "Assets using this software".
