I am having some issues getting the owner field to take a value. I am using it to assign the computer to a primary user. I have a hanful of computers that are on another site that SysAid will not allow me to add an owner for. At our primary site everything went as planned with the owner field. I can see that the users have been imported from the LDAP, but when I try to choose the a name from the list it is not there. Any thoughts?

Dear Coreyoliseffect,
In this case please delete the users you do not find in the Select User view from Preferences > User Management > End user Manager and import them back again by clicking the refresh users from LDAP on the bottom of that page.
Please notify me if that resolved your issue
Thanks Inna

This idea is a little more evasive but can I just delete all the users and import them from LDAP again? or will this delete the users that I have already entered?

Dear Coreyoliseffect,
I did not understand what is evasive, as I provided a solution that was confirmed by many of our clients as a working solution. Of course you can just delete all the users and import them from LDAP again? but it is recommended to delete the users that do not appears in the Select User view.
Thanks
Inna

No, I meant that my idea of deleting all of the users and then importing them was more evasive than your idea. Although, I did find out what the issue is. We keep all of our disabled users in the AD, thus making us have moer than 180 users. Since SysAid imports all of the users from the AD it is seeing the users that are disabled as active. I will need to go through and change the active users in SysAid to enabled. Thanks for the suggestion!
