I am running SysAid Enterprise on a Windows 2008 R2 64 bit server. Let's call the domain it is running in domain1. It's database is located in domain2 on a MS SQL 2005 server.
Up until now I have had a LDAP integration with an AD server in domain2. I am trying to integrate it with a second server located in domain1. This forces me to erase my existing users, bringing in all of my integrated users using "domain\username" logins. However after the integration takes place, i get an error in my Service Desk module which reads "Error in Query", disabling the entire service desk except for the matrix. For now I've gotten rid of the second integration, and reverted back to the initial configuration with only the integration with domain2.
I think the error is coming from the sudden change in usernames. Am i correct in assuming this or may it be stemming from another problem?
Is there a way to perform this integration without having to use the "domain\username" logins, or does anyone else have any suggestions?
I've opened a ticket with support and I am waiting for them to respond. Just thought I'd try the forums.
Thanks
