Is there a way to allow end users to view activities in the end user portal "Help Desk - Service Request" screen? (http://....../sysaid/EndUserSRView.jsp?id=xxx)
I am able to display activities on the "View your old service requests" screen by modifying the EndUser view, bit it's not very readable. I would much prefer to display the activities on the "Help Desk - Service Request" screen.
I think I may need to modify the "service-request-page.htm" file, but after looking at it I'm not sure what changes to make.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Once you add the "Activities" field to the EndUser view, you should also see that field on the service request page. Is this not the case ?

Adam,
When I add Activities to the end user view, a 2 line snipit of the Activities are displayed on the "View your old service requests" screen. When an end user clicks on the old service request and pulls up the "Help Desk - Service Request" screen, the Activities are not displayed.

This is how the activities work at present. If you would like you can open a new post in the feature request section and purpose how you would like the Activities to look for you and maybe other will be interested too.

The activities currently work in the end user portal, but I have to agree that some might find it a bit limited in its current state.
We are planning to expand the activities to the service request page the end user can access, and this will be added to one of the future versions of SysAid.
Best regards.
Haim

Here are the requested screenshots. As you can see, activities show up in the initial listing, but are not displayed on the details page. We are using v5.5.06.

Hello JRubsam,
In order for you to resolve this, please go to your customized HTML folder, delete the file "service-request-page.htm" and press on the "Reload Templates" button (under Preferences > Customize > Appearance. By doing so, it should take your new (default) sr-page.htm from the default HTML directory.
Save the changes and check it again.
Best Regards.
Ori Sharon.

Ori,
I have done as you instructed and it does not seem to have made a difference. The activities are still listed on the history page (/sysaid/EndUserSRs.jsp?historyPage=Y) but not on the SR View page (/sysaid/EndUserSRView.jsp?id=106).

Dear JRubsam,
If so, please navigate to your customized HTML folder again and delete all the files that you didn't customize at all ! Than, press on the "Reload Templates" button once again.
Best Regards
Ori Sharon

I have the same problem than JRubsam,
My Sysaid version is 5.6.03 and i deleted all html in WEB-INF\conf\html and reloaded templates.
I have another folder with only one customiced html: submit-service-request.html
I can try something else?
Thanks!

Have you mistakenly deleted all of the html files in the default location (ie. ...\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\conf\html) ??
If so, please restore those files from the attached html folder (zipped) and then copy (not cut / delete) the submit-service-request.htm file to a new folder. Only in that new folder should you customize the html files. After that, please go to Preferences > Customize > Appearance, enter the full path to the html folder in the HTML Files Location field, click on Save and then Reload Templates.
In the future, please do not delete configuration files from the SysAidServer folder as this may adversely affect your system.
