Hello everyone

The company has installed the free edition 6.0.04 and is required to enable the SMTP service that is with GMAIL and in various forums that I have reviewed indicate that since version 6.5 is compatible with gmail.

How do I upgrade to the latest version without losing your settings and histrial case?

Hello

Upgrade patches do not overwrite your email integration
If you are not sure and want to be safe you will need to write down these integration settings located:

Preferences -> Integration -> modify and write down the settings

Again upgrade does not override this

I can upgrade from version 6.0.04 to version 8.1 with patch only, and not lost data and setting? or have installing patch by patch up to the last version 8.1?

Note: SysAid Release 7.5 or higher is needed in order to upgrade to SysAid 8.1. If you're using an edition of SysAid you purchased before the release of SysAid 7.0 called Pro Plus, go ahead and use the Pro Edition Upgrade link to get started with SysAid 8.1.

you will need to do 7.0 and 7/5 upgrades to get the 8.1 upgrade.. see download locations below
