I want to install Sysaid on a MS SQL database server.
Can you help me with sizing?
Which user is the right for 'setting database connection', owner of he database?

Dear Raven
User must be owner of created database.

Credentials is used in instlalation procedure and then stored in config file.

All other does instalation procedure.

Check Your Database recovery model, for database backup, if you want in time recovery use Recovery model Full and backup often transaction logs, if you dont wana in time recovery use Simple recovery model..
For explanation check MS article about backup.
