Howdy All,

Long story short...I'm trying to import ".csv" files into SysAid by group. Meaning...moving the records into my Group as they import. I REALLY don't want to manually move them one at a time. Also, I need to periodically export Asset ".csv" files for importation into other databases. Does SysAid support any of these tasks?

G'Day Tom,

These tasks can certainly be done in SysAid. You need to ensure the group name is a column in the CSV you plan to import and simply map it to the group field in SysAid when you set up the import.

The export can be done from a asset list view. You have to set up the view to contain the columns you want to export and then use the Export to CSV icon.
