Is there a sysaid 8.5 planned for November? (Historically there has been a release every November!)...........and are there any new features planned? (purchasing/stock control/booking kit out would be very helpful)

We recently released 8.1 (Minor release), and are currently in finalizing the R&D of our next Major release 8.5 that will be available Feb 2012.

I am really curious about that as well.
What can we expect for the coming release?

Personally I prefer improvement in the current modules and interface instead of adding new modules.

Like more balancing and improvement on

- Remote Control: the new remote control gateway works sluggish, right clicking is a pain or the scrolling is working bad in the browser. example: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/7537.page
- Proper Dual screen support when using RC
- more customization and importing tasks in the tasks/projects module.
- Outlook synchronization for tasks and projects: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/417.page
- more e-mail notifications on Tasks.
- being able to LOCK a SR when another admin is working on it as requested here: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/6443.page
- more customization on the SR fields like the description field.
- focus on bug fixing: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/7485.page and http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/7485.page
- the ability to keep the attachment on SR so a forward function: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/4917.page
- Start and Stop button in the activity timers
- the ability to see if the OS is 64bit or 32 bit within Asset Management.
- Dual screen, screen shots added in the SR: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/1475.page
- Add an OK/Cancel button on Top of the page as well or that the button is floating with you to minimize scrolling: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/1655.page
- Proper working Out of the Office feature when an admin is on holiday all SR assigned to him will be forwarded to another admin specified

Add more features asked in the feature request forum because i do see new modules added but not specifically which most of the sysaiders ask for.
Now some modules feel unfinished, buggy(RC) or having a lack of customization or options.
