Is there a predefined process to import records from Filemaker 4 into SysAid?

We are currently using the free version 7.5.05

filemaker pro 4 has an excel export feature as CSV

if you already have your assets in SysAid then you will need to then add your Asset ID from SysAid to your CSV so that the information will be added to the correct asset
I suggest doing this first, so that you can just update (add) the data to your assets

Then in SysAid, go to Asset Management > Import Asset
MAKE sure your Asset ID in one of the field or it will ADD assets, not update
select the correct fields for the other columns

IMPORT (submit)

Hi,

there are no assets that we need to import. We are trying to import service requests and associated information logged in a Filemaker Pro 4 database. Are you able to advise of the steps needed to import this information from the exported FM4 CSV into Sysaid?

I believe that there is ONLY a way to import Users and Assets and there information through the interface
