Hello,
anybody know why Sysaid isn't in PinkVerify list?
It could be interesting to know how many ITL process are recognised by a third part company.

Hi alep71,
SysAid Covers the following core ITIL processes : Incident Management , Problem Management , Change Management.
We also cover Asset management, CMDB and Service Level Management.
SysAid also supports additional topics that are integrated within our product including: Knowledge management , Event Management , Request fulfillment and more...
Regarding PinkVerify : We are actually in the middle of the process of evaluating this....
Regards,
Oded

To be honest I just came across free edition of Sysaid and the number of features it includes are pretty impressive. I have worked on different ITIL based tools like BMC Remedy, Sercive center. etc and can tell you that SysAid full verison is one among the top IT Helpdesk tools. The corcern about ITIL must be around the corner somewhere.

Congratulations Sysaid!
I hope this is only a start. It could be great if Event management, Financial Management, Knowledge management, Request Fulfillment, Service Assets and configuration management, Service Catalog management could be follow the same way in the future. Any plans to implement those features as PinkVerify certified features??

Thanks,
You will see that in 9.0 we added request management, and besides financial management we kind of manage all the other processes even if we did not certify them.....
What functionality do you feel you are missing in these areas ?

Hello, and thank you for your questions.
Well, I am not a ITIL expert and neither a Sysaid expert, but we choose this product because of its price quality ratio and support, and we are fine.
Anyway, in my opinion, following PinkVerify guideline is important because customers and potential customers can compare better the solutions on the market.
This is my personal wishlist:
-Event management: it could be nice a direct shortcut in the menu on the left for the events generated by monitoring. This is for a clear understanding that problems, incident, request and events (even though we can create incidents from events) are different issues.
-Finantial management:the great question is "how much does it cost a department, an office, where costs are hardware, software, worked hours?". We can set costs in worked hours, software, hardware, but I don't think there are assisted configurable reports to obtain this informations.
-Knowledge management: it works right now, but it could be better if the informations are showed in a sort of wiki too. The usability could improve in my opinion.
-CMDB : ability to import users, and, if a users is the owner or is the user of a PC, we should see this in the CMDB automagically. We would like to sync external repository without using API.
-Service Catalog: it could be great if the administrators could populate a user portal section with the service offered to the users, so they can request what they need (services, assets) and knowing the costs. The services should be created in a different section, and synchronized with the CMDB.
-Ability to sync project tasks with Exchange, Outlook or OWA as the calendar does. And, last but not least, some way to import projects from files.
Maybe for version 10?
