When using the analyzer to view reports. The PDF and Excel output formats work properly, however when selecting Java Applet for the output format and clicking submit. The web browser changes to a blank page. This problem seems to only happen with IE7 as an internet browser.
This happens with both Vista IE7 and WinXP IE7.
note: java version 1.6u7 installed
Suggestions?

This issue was verified to be an issue with IE, as a work around, you can use firefox.

This issue is current as of v 5.6 0.3
I will be upgrading to 5.6.0.9 within a week and will see if that has resolved this issue.

As of SysAid version 5.6.0.9 this issue remains.

Yes, it doesn't work with IE7 in 5.6.10 either, but does work in google chrome, so it is not the version of java at fault. java 6 update 10 & tried 6 update 12

Hate to bring up an OLD issue, but do not see anything else about this topic
but I JUST started looking at the JAVA report generator, and it is not working for me ... I just always use the pdf and it works fine
I have tried IE8x86 & IE8x64 win7x64, IE6 win2k
I assume it is a server setup issue, but i do not know where to start

I think it is because they have not updated all the jasper report components to the same version in the current release.
It is not browser type related in this current version of the problem.
