Hello,
We currently have SysAid Pro Plus edition (version 8.1.02) installed on our web server. At least once or twice a week, we get an error message that says that the service is unavailable. The only way to solve the problem is to log in to the server, go into "services", stop the SysAid service, and then restart it. This works every time. However, it's a pain to have to restart the service every week.
SysAid is the only service running on our server that requires this type of weekly maintenance, and there's no predicting when the service will get hung up like this. Is there a work-around for this issue?

this is most likely a port conflicted, port 8005
if you have any other java servers running (like vmware server 2, ...just happen to be my issue several years ago) they may be fighting over this port
stop SysAid server then do a "netstat -a" in a command window to verify that you are listening to port 8005
I do not remember where to change this... but i believe it was possible
