I have a few Quick Lists tickets setup to track our daily backups for our servers. I'd like to include today's date in the title and have it assigned to a particular user. I have to do this manually now but would like to have it set automatically.

If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

This might be something better handled using the tasks and projects module. Do you have that licensed and available? If so, you can front load these tasks and set them as recurring.

I have a 30-day trial license for that, but that doesnt' help putting today's date in the Subject.
