Notice since the last version 8.5.05 some performances issues. It takes longer to load some pages, populate the combo boxes, delays that we didn't have before.

I remember that there is a way to raise the amount of RAM we want the sysaid server to take on the server but can't remember where to go. Anyone can direct me?

Also, one of our administrator keep getting a reminder about the need to upgrade to 8.5.05 even though the upgrade was one server side. Even if he click the box to "not show" the reminder anymore, he gets it every single time he logs in into sysaid.

thanks,

I agree...there was a large speed decrease in the first iterations of 8.5...I haven't seen it as much after upgrading to the newest version.

The green box problem is easy to fix if you're OK with editing your database

Hello All,

You dont have to change the DB to get the green message to disappear.
and it is not recommended to change the DB on your own (as you breach your license agreement)
Please upgrade to the last 8.5.x it will resolve the issue and related issue.

Thanks
Sarah

As Sarah echos, upgrading to 8.5.08 will take care of the green messages and other permissions issues from the previous release. However you can go into the DB if you don't want to update, and simply find the genericmessages, and set them all to disabled. DIY at your own risk. My Admins were tired of the messages, so it was a temporary stop gap until SysAid fixed..

I have one administrator that, even with 8.5.08 keep getting the green message every single time he logs in in Sysaid. So 8.5.08 didn't resolve it.

Hi all,

sorry to necro this thread but we seem to have performance problems since we enabled SSO as displayed in the attached file.
The drop in cpu load is due to a restart.
