For some reason, end users do not get an email when opening or closing SRs.
As an admin I do get messages about SR's opening.
When I send regular mail from the system they get it.
I'm using free version 8.5

Do the users have an email address assigned to them under user management > end users ?

Please answer the below questions:

1. If you are using the send message function and selecting and end user name does the end user receive the email? You can also try and send an email to yourself do you receive it?

2. If you do please upload a screenshot of your helpdesk settings-> general settings tab for review.
