i would like to make a second dropdown box on the software products form.
i allready have one for the supplier witch points to the supplier list but i want a second one that i can call vendor witch also points to the supplier list.
the purpose of this is that i can enter a supplier that is different from the vendor but i want to be able to select both names out of the supplier list.

Hey Edwin,
So you want to have two supplier fields in the software product page?
If so, then this cannot currently be done, but you can configure a custom list in this form, and populate it with the required vendor information.
You can add a custom list to this form by clicking on the "design form" (blue wheel icon), move the "custom list 1/2" to the "visible fields" list, then you can go to preferences > customize > custom lists, choose "software custom list 1/2" and add the required entries to this list.
You can also change the name of the field using the translation file which you can edit in preferences > customize > translate.

i need dependent customized lists, for example custom list 2 depend on custom list1. i elaborate it more it my organization, shops are categorized in different regions called routes. I want custom list1 will be populated with routes. when i select route, custom list2 shows the the outlets of specific routes.

Currently, there is no custom list fields that work in multiple levels. You can suggest that in the feature request forum.
