Hi,
I have started noticing that there are some PCs in my organisation that immediately drop the remote desktop connection as soon as it connects.
We are using the same hardware and a standard image, so I cannot work out what is causing the issue.
What occurs is that the remove connection is started from the technicians end; the end user will get the pop up asking for the connection. The end use will accept the connection, they get a 'flash' of the end users screen, and then the connection is dropped.
It is only happening with a few PCs; but is starting to get annoying.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
PD

Hi,
The PC in question (Dell Optiplex 780) only has one screen.
We have had some issue with dual screens but have discovered if the connection does drop out, when you reconnect for a second time, things work as they should.
Thanks,

do you have encryption enabled for your Agents and your Remote Control Viewer?

we had the same issue, and in our case I had the SysAid Remote Control Viewer on Encrypted.
and on the agents the connection was not encrypted which caused this issue.

Solution was to turn off encryption on my sysaid remote control viewer.
(right click on it and press toggle Encrytption Mode)

Thanks to our account manager to figure this out for us

Hi,
Thanks for the ideas.
Unfortunatley encryption is already turned off as we were having issues with it previously.

We've had the same issue since version 8 came out. It'll drop connection say first 2 attempts and then work fine afterwards.
