I want to know if it is possible to use ORCA to edit the MSI tables to get sysagent to do a silent install. I know that you can use switches at the end like /q but I want to make this as simple as possible. If this is possible, what table do I change and what value do I change?
I got around this problem by creating a Self Extracting EXE that installs SysAid and a couple of other programs silently in the background. Works great for my uses...
I found the a solution 90 % of my problem. Here is what I did to resolve my issue. Opened the sysaid agent msi in ORCA.. Update the appropriate sections on Property tab. Then went to the dialogue table and dropped the folderdlg, welcomedlg, exitdlg, preparedlg, progressdlg, and userexit. The only thing left now is to figure out which section checks for the installation and get it to do nothing if already installed.
