Is there a way to have SysAid not append the domain name to the login name for users? This has created some inconsistency and annoyance in our installation. Any user added after we upgraded to 8.5 is entered in as domain\user, all users added before 8.5 were simply "user". This completely throws off the sort order and makes it difficult for our admins to scroll through the list to find a user. We only have one domain and do not need this information included in the login name. I know I can write a SQL script that would run through the database and strip all the domain off of all login names, but I'd rather not do that (many different tables would need to be touched).

I've asked about this before and been told it's not possible, "that's just how it is"

I'm watching this thread in hopes that someone else has a solution
