Hello everyone!
Yes I am back after a long period of going missing from the Sysaid forums.
I have searched the forums but I didn't find this question I'm about to throw at you.
Is the appearance of the reports satisfactory to produce within your company?
I know we can edit certain things within the reports but like MS Excel's simple Chart Wizard, couldn't we have something like this built in so we can present information more neatly and easier to read.
Surely this thought cannot hurt as it would purely be an option for the reporting manager of Sysaid to choose if they would like the results into graphs too.
What's your thoughts?
Mark
PS. If this should go ahead, can we have some preview designs for the graphs within the reports? I.e. 3D? Bar? Pie? Stock? Line? Etc...

I love my job, I had the great privilege of recommending SysAid to our department and demoing it at a staff meeting.
Since then I have also demoed it to another department we work with, they watching our implementation and with any luck will join the SysAid family also. Then I will just have two more departments to convert.
This could be commission based or at least negotiable! Right?!

I absolutely love the amount of time Obelix has on his hands since I presume this wasn't done out of hours?!
*rolling eyes and sniggers*
Nice review though Obelix
PS. Yes I did have the time to read it all!

techguy wrote:Yes welcome back Haim, you were very much missed the first few days that you were gone, posts went un-answered and I had to lead a users revolt to get your colleagues posting again, Sarah soon put things right though and got things ship-shape!
As a result though, i'm afraid you are never allowed to take holiday again except Christmas day, we will let you have that one!
I guess you've been told Haim
Ho noess, what would i do now
I think that if i'll promise techguy to make sure to have an appropriate replacement, he would allow my vacation
But how can you guarantee the same level of service? I'm thinking more on the lines of Sysaid T-Shirts!!!

seanick wrote:Quick post here -- as a web developer, I know there are many cross-browser tricks that can make the display the same in IE, Firefox (2 or 3) and Safari.
I've noticed some front-end issues with SysAid and FF3 - the icons don't line up, etc. (This is the same on the SysAid support site too.)
Other than that, everything mostly works the same, although the autologon routine doesn't work in Firefox3.
I have to agree with Seanick here because using IE7, we have issues with the layout of the front page (whether it's custom or not).
With Firefox, I don't appear to have this issue. Apart from this, I don't see any other issues.

Thanks, that's cheered me up a bit now, I will have to try and re-gain my previous 5-star status now *wonders off through forum checking threads to help*

Was thinking more about "happy feet" products.
I despise Mac.
It's exactly the anti-thesis - style over substance !
Mua hah ah a hah ah ah ahahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaa
Have you seen Airbook ?
Only thing cool is the thickness.
What does thickness has anything to do with computing ?!?!?
Yes I have seen the Airbook, aren't they making another one but to be more beefy or is that a rumour?
I like the Mac for their (seemingly) more professional reputation and design (apart from the fact that they have a lot of functionality also).
I'm guessing the thickness is more for people that travel a lot, carrying the smaller/lighter MacAir seems to be a better choice (if they can afford it).

Just make sure your mug doesn't turn up with hot chocolate already made

"...A must-have for serious Mac users."
*bows* credit given where it's due!

We use Vendor > Product > Issue for example Microsoft > Outlook 2007 > Address book.
It's simple, helps and works perfectly for us

techguy wrote:it reflects how people rate your helpfulness, controlled by the little rate drop-down in the ocrner of your post. But I see you have only have 3 stars now, have you been a bad boy?
Nope: its just me messing around ! I'm afraid I gave you a lesser rating for not using the forum search feature, where this has been asked before.

That's a bit harsh! *Growls with furious barking* (seems to work for Obelix)
I thought 4 stars would have been fair considering it was a post of a joke and since the stars are for being helpful rather than knowing everything, it kind of shows how mean you've been *sobs in the corner*

When I have a holiday, I tend to try and relax and get away from all the stress and pressure. So there's nothing worse than carrying a Blackberry or laptop about because you'd only keep looking. VPN is easier to control cause it's a "dial-in" feature that takes effort
