G'Day G90,

You should have received a quotation by now. I will pass this on as a priority to my colleagues.

Do you still get the error when you double click the Icon?
Which Operating System are you using?
Where did you install the Server Software? Local or on a different device?

Regards,

Pierre
G'Day Tom,

These tasks can certainly be done in SysAid. You need to ensure the group name is a column in the CSV you plan to import and simply map it to the group field in SysAid when you set up the import.

The export can be done from a asset list view. You have to set up the view to contain the columns you want to export and then use the Export to CSV icon.

Let me know if you require any further information.
G'Day Tia,

You can run the SysAid Server on Windows 2008 R2.

You can migrate the settings of the previous installation, but you need to insure the "old" installation is upgraded to the latest edition before the migration of the data.
Good Day Metaphor,

You can check this by going to the Helpdesk Settings>General Settings.

You will find the setting for the end user notifications round about the middle of the page. Click on the elipse button to select the additional statusses for the notifications.
G'Day TFC_Geek,

Have you tried customizing the list view to display fewer columns? This would be one way of doing it.

You can as an alternative hide the module menu (main menu on the left)
G'Day Matthijs,

The fields can be removed and added using the blue design cog icon at the top of the form. This is also what you use to change the columns you see in the list view.

This design cog is available throughout SysAid for this purpose.

Regards,
G'Day,

Notifications for standard Service Request submissions can not currently be stopped based on operating hours.

Monitoring Notifications can be limited, based on operating hours, using the SysAid Monitoring Module.

You might want to contact helpdesk@sysaid.com to request a quotation for a special project to achieve this. I am sure they can help you.
G'Day,

You will either have to restore if you have a backup or you will have to log a support call. This will most probably require the support team to do a remote session to fix this for you.
G'Day Sysninja,

This process can also be achieved utilizing a combination of the Quicklists and the Project and Task Module (if you have it)

Let me know if you would like me to provide you with more detail on how the process can be set up.
G'Day,

You can add the field to the General Details tab of the Asset to display the OS Serial number. The OS serial number is not reflected in the software list of the asset anymore, like the other serials of MS Office etc.

This change was made in version 7.5.
G'Day,

You can certainly run SysAid in a Citrix desktop session.

There are many SysAid customers who do just this. No SysAid does NOT require a lot of memory.
Good Day Ponomy,

The network discovery is part of the SysAid base package.

There is a cost involved if you would like to purchase the SysAid Advanced Monitoring Module. Please send a request to sales@sysaid.com, we will be glad to provide you with a quotation.

Good Day,

SysAid Release 7.5.05 is the latest release. SysAid Release 8.X will be available in a few months.
Good Day Ponomy,

User groups can be automatically created based on the user groups in Active Directory. This being dependent on you SysAid LDAP Integration being configured correctly.

You can also create user groups manually by going to Preferences>User Management>Groups. You need to configure the user group as a General Group.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
This should not be a problem in the current version of SysAid 7.5.05.

This error will occur if the login used for the deployment does not have sufficient rights on the device you are deploying to

or

The Remote Registry Service is set to start manual on Windows Vista & Windows 7 operating systems. You need to ensure this service is started and running before attempting to deploy to these operating systems.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue.
