The request time still doesn't show up for me.
And as I posted above the problem with the multiple selection, is you have to select this every time, Could an extra filter be added?

Here is the other report. This one will print your entire knowledgebase.
.log on as a manager then go to design Report then click on the root of the tree "sysaid" then click on the "new report" icon above the tree.
2. a new window will appear with this title "New Report Options" choose Empty Report then click save.
3. in the next window right this string next to the Caption: Print All Knowledgebase Articles
4. in the same window click the Report design tab then click the Browse button next to the "Upload Report File" and choose the "Print all kb articles.jrxml" file from the attachment after that click Apply button.
5. move to the Prompt tab (in the same window) then copy the whole text from the attach "Print all kb articles prompt.txt" and put it there after that click the apply button.
6. finally go to the script tab and then copy the whole text from the attach "Print all kb articles script.txt" and put it there after that click the ok button and run the report.
Enjoy!

As there still is not the facility to print Knowledgebase articles and as many of you have been voting for this feature, as a temporary workaround I have created a couple of reports for printing either all your knowledgebase, or an individual article. This should work with SysAid Version 8 and above In this first post we will cover printing a specific article. 1.log on as a manager then go to design Report then click on the root of the tree "sysaid" then click on the "new report" icon above the tree. 2. a new window will appear with this title "New Report Options" choose Empty Report then click save. 3. in the next window right this string next to the Caption: Print Knowledgebase Article 4. in the same window click the Report design tab then click the Browse button next to the "Upload Report File" and choose the "PrintKBArticle.jrxml" file from the attachment after that click Apply button. 5. move to the Prompt tab (in the same window) then copy the whole text from the attach "Print KB Article prompt.txt" and put it there after that click the apply button. 6. finally go to the script tab and then copy the whole text from the attach "Print KB Article script.txt" and put it there after that click the ok button and run the report. Let me know how you get on.

This is not what I wanted, would like PDF reports in a list format.
BTW .. would it not be a great feature if report templates could be shared by way of export/import?
No the wizard can output reports in pdf or excel format (subject to certain limits).
If the layout is not right you will need to post some screenshots and explain what you want it to look like.
Yes I like your last suggestion.

Please could we have the request time field back as well please?

Thank you very much Joseph.
It might be useful to have one more filter group please - "Not Closed" (Active + pending Bug fix + pending feature requests) i.e. all with non-closed statuses
Although I know I can tick multiple selection and tick those 3 now (which I have done).
Again thank you.

I got a reply today to say that this is a known issue in 3.5 and being worked on.

The forum got spammed again with 10 posts to various threads by a user "asd321" - I have reported this to SysAid, hopefully they will remove the posts soon.

If you have a manager license there is now a report wizard for creating reports that makes the task a lot easier.
Have you tried this?

I am going through my old service requests, trying to close some of my requests now they have been fixed/implemented in the beta but I cannot filter status properly in your (SysAid's - not my own) css end user portal.
Certain statuses like "pending bug Resolution" and "awaiting Feature request implementation" etc are not available to select from the filter, it seems to show just a random selection of some of the statuses.
In the old version Haim had created a view called "Not Closed" to list all outstanding requests with a non-closed status. But I cannot create a similar filter because not all the statuses show up in the list.
Can you fix this please?

Last I heard you still have to turn encryption off, so we don't use it.
Unless someone from SysAid can correct me...

Hi Batman, you would be better off creating a new post in the monitoring forum as it is really more about monitoring than reporting.
