I like the escalation rule as a good way to change status of service requests under specified circumstances, but although the Action Builder allows me to define new values for any other field, these changes are not being applied when the rule is activated. eg the status will change but the category will not despite being told to do so by the Action Builder.
Any ideas??

Last week I used the [Turn end users into administrators] button to turn an End User into an Admin User. Today I want to reverse the procedure and make him into a normal End User again. My problem is that I can't find anywhere to do this.
I'm hoping this doesn't mean that I have to delete and recreate the user because I expect that the newly recreated user would not have access to the original user's previously logged Service Requests.

When I'm in the list view of the Help desk I can save and re-use various views with different columns being displayed. I can then select a single priority (for example) and limit the list to only display SRs with that priority. But sometimes (most days) I want to limit the list to a subset of the priorities (eg Unallocated & Very High & High) so that I can view, and sometimes print, a list of SRs that may need to be chased up as my first priority for the day. Each day I go into the filter tool and type in the selections for the filter.
I would find it really useful, and time saving, to be able to save my common filters and simply select from the list each day as I do when I want to select a particular view.
Is there any way to do this?

I'd like to print a list of all the active SRs that I'm working on but can't find anywhere to do this. I had a look thru the Analyser section but all those reports seem to be simple summaries of numbers of SRs in each category. I just need something simple like the User/Topic/Description/Status and maybe Notes.
I'm using the Sysaid free version v5.5.04
Is there anywhere in Sysaid to generate such a report? Or is it possible to use ODBC or SQL to extract data directly from the database?
Thanks in advance for any clues.
