.........Got it working now. It was related to another issue with java threads. Got SysAid support on a remote session.

Sorry - The problem is still there.. Will try to get hold on Sysaid support again.
the "HTML Files Location" is empty? - Should I enter our URL to the helpdesk here or?
After upgrading to 7.5.03 and deploying new agents the shortcut/ hotkey does not work for new installations. The hotkey/ shortcut opens the browser (default webpage) but not redirecting to the helpdesk URL??

Registry settings
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ilient\Agent]

...through hotkey or shortcut.

After upgrading to 7.5.03 this option is gone from the end user portal. Any ideas what could have happend? (we had this issue once before on v. 5.xx and changed the ProxyPort/Server registry which did the trick then. But this is not it this time)

Besides, the process time for the helpdesk to show after using the hotkey is now 20-30 seconds as before it was just a few seconds.
Lately we experience that our helpdesk is not available. Checking the helpdesk-server and restarting SysAid-server does not help. But "killing" the process java.exe makes everything fine for a while. The java.exe process consumes around 200-350 MB.

Server version : 7.5.03
Client version : 7.5.03

Any ideas out there?
Hi Eric,

It is possible to have Microsoft Online Exchange services and Sysaid working together. You just need to have your MSOL exchange as authoriative server.

We are about to change today, but I have tested it on our test maildomain and test helpdesk.
yes, we are now running 6.5.0.6. The problem dissapeared after upgrade to 6.0.0.9 I think.
Just tried two upgrades without success. Installation goes fine, but the helpdesk cannot get online again - tried to restart the SysAid Server service several times. A reboot of the server.

We are now back on 6.0.0.7 by copying the old files back and a full restore of the database.

Anyone else with upgrade problems or suggestions to what is wrong?
Thanks, we found a similar SR yesterday and was waiting to see the result this morning. Seems to work fine now.
well, two month later, running on Sysaid Server 6.0.0.7 and clientAgent 6.0.0.7

Our database is now 8.2 GB, which I think i alarming. Shrinking the DB will only give us 5 MB.

What to do?? is there no other way than a complete reinstall on a new DB??
For some unknown reason our User Management get filled up with the $share (eg. c$ from computername) of a computer on our network. We have enabled integration from our Active Directory (LDAP) without any problem for aprox. 1 year now.

The problem is quite critical, since the number of users increase above the license limit at no users will be able to access the helpdesk.

No changes (or at least no one admits they have changed anything in the helpdesk-settings) has been made, and the LDAP-integration looks fine.

Any idea what could be the reason for the for $share computername in the user-database?
Hmm, we do not have Java running on this server. Must be something else.

(maybe worth to mention, we are running all our servers on VMWare ESX 3.5 AND just upgraded to v. 6.0.0.7 last friday 12/6-09 and have not restarted since.)
Running version 6.0.0.6 and some times we need to restart the Sysaid Server Service to access the helpdesk.

There is nothing in the eventviewer that indicates sysaid-problems

Any idea what it could be?
Just got another version of the SQL-statement and now I have the stored procedure - result:
When running the SQL as a new query I get the error :

Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 46
Incorrect syntax near 'END'.
