Update on last post - it would be BRILLIANT to see stats for "yesterday" and "last 7 days" as well as last month. If you are trying to manage service quality then knowing what happened last month is too late!
Once you highlight a measuement - you will see a graph on the bottom right side of the screen which represents the value for each of the last 60 days of your local data,
This gives you a clear picture of the trends for each measurement

This measurement calculates the average resolution time of all closed service requests from type=Incident during the period. It uses the default first timer that is configured to count the time it took to resolve the Service request. You may fine tune this measurement by excluding certain categories or other attributes using the filter builder. This measurement was the first to be published. What would you guess is the average resolution time you provide to your business ? Check where you stand in the IT Benchmark. Did you check where you stand compared to the World wide statistics among SysAiders ? make sure to access the IT Benchmark menu and click on this measurement (6th row) This measurement is open for discussion..... so go ahead :)

Dear SysAiders, We are constantly developing new features from release to release and in parallel we are also improving existing features and functions. Although SysAid is considered to be very fast compared to other solutions, we still strive to be even faster and more optimized all the time ! This has a few aspects, for example: - Adding the favorite menu in our latest release can save a few clicks each time you want to access SysAid pages - Multiple updates of fields from the list - without having to go into each one. - Insert automatic texts into messages - And more ! I would like to continue and save you all those clicks and few seconds here and few seconds there ! Focusing on reocurring actions is where I want to start ! As you all use SysAid on a day to day base - you are the best source to find these places..... So go ahead and post your suggestions here so they can make it to our next release ! Regards and Happy Holidays ! Oded

In SysAid release 6.5 on the dashboard... on the "toolbar" you notice an addition of small circular green arrow ?
Don't click on it yet... you need to have more than one view to do that. Next to it is a "VIEW: links" to change view just like on the SR list.
(If you joined after release 6.0 came out, you should have a few views included in your dashboard as part of the installation, if your upgraded, you can add them as detailed below...)
First enable the rotating thing by going to "preference" and then "my setting" it's way below there's a check mark field called "enable automatic rotating view on dashboard". Check it. Save.
Next go back to the dashboard. Go to "design dashboard". Click on the view link. You will have two options...
One is to decide if you want to include current view to be rotated and the other is to define a new view.
To define new view simply enter a name for the view and click apply. You will get a new set of default charts ready to be designed. Go ahead and designed it.
Now you got two view.
If you exclude both to be rotated automatically, you can change the view either by selecting it like we always do on SR list... or you can click on the green circular arrow. If you include both to be rotated automatically the view will change according to the refresh time.
How to set the refresh time ?
Go to "customized" and then "appearance". There's a field called "automatic" refresh. To test it set it as low as possible. So you don't die out of impatient.
Go get a cup of coffee, some snack and go back to the dashboard sit back relax to watch the magic.
After you survive the thrill and prolly several rounds of mexican waves,
Ask yourself what can you get from this feature...
I propose to go ahead and purchase an LCD screen and hang it up in your department ! login to SysAid and go to the Manager Dashboard module.
Now everyone can get a realtime insite of what's going on in every corner of your IT !
*smile*
Happy rotating !
(Thanks to Obelix for this well written post, I edited it a bit but you can see the original post here).

Hi reneinsa,
In the New 6.5 Release there is a new report called "Opened/Closed Request Distribution"
It gives the amount of SR-s closed and opened for each hour of the day - in the defined period.
Is this what you mean ?

Dear pufferdude, Let me address this issue raised by you. Our R&D are currently undergoing the following enhancements and improvements related to the MAC agent: 1. Bug #414 – Pull the correct Machine Name from Macintosh agents. 2. Bug #2441 – GUI corrections when displaying Macintosh Storage information under the Hardware tab. 3. Bug #2442 – Fixed an issue with missing network information related to inventory reported by Mac-s. 4. Bug #4422 – Fixed an error related to the Hardware inventory reported back from Snow leopard 10.6.1 5. And more.... All of the above issues have been collected from you and other SysAiders in the past few months and put together as part of the new MAC agent version. These developments haven't reached the official release 6.5 but will be available as an enhanced MAC agent in the next few weeks (We will have a version that we can send you for testing next week already). So as you can see, this issue hasn't been neglected – but I can understand how you feel due to the lack of clear communication related to this specific issue. I edited the title of your topic so it is more appropriate and fits the spirit of this Forum. We are still gathering additional issues that were reported – if any of you have related issues – please post them so we can validate that they are in the pipeline with the proper priority. Regards, Oded

Hi Both,
The logic is a following:
in the user permissions you have "Change manager" permission and "View other Admins' action items ".
A user without these permissions can see an update only his assigned actions.
A SysAid admin with "SysAid administrator" permission can update anyones actions.
In the 6.5 there is a new field (FR 3712) that contains the last update info, so you can clearly see who updated the action item and when,
In a normal environment - where not all admins are "SysAid Administrators" you shouldn't experience the scenario you are describing. try to test it with a normal Admin and let me know.
And please add the 2 new fields to your views (Reopn info and last update info)
