Good morning everyone,
Just to clarify, i would need to create a Host A or a cname under the external DNS hosting server with the internal IP address mapped to the external ip address pointing to helpdesk.my.company.name.com. Is that understanding correct?
Thank you all for your assistance,

What if i created a new alias (cname) under DNS pointing the internal ip address to helpdesk.my.company.name.com?
Would that work and has anyone done that before or better yet how are other SysAiders accomplishing this?
Thank you,

Hello All,
I have installed SysAid on a workstation running XP and now I wanted to have users access that system when they are out on the road or working from home. But when I go to the Server IP address:8080 on the web browser i get a page not found.
I also have changed the ServerURL, to have this tag: <serverURL>http://My_SysAidServerInternal IP Address:port</serverURL>
Internally i am able to open and close calls and reach the login portal but not externally.
Not sure what is going on here. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi BJINS,
I saw that choice under Integration, but how can i have more than one subject ignored? Do i use the ";" symbol or can you only ignore one subject overall?
Thank you,

We have an alias email address being forward to the email within SysAid to automatically create requests. But we would like to ignore (avoid un-neccessary SysAid requests created) so of the requests that come in via that alias, do not get created. Is there a way to accomplish this either via headers or something else? Has anyone incounter this issue?
Thank you,
Mit08

Hello everyone,
I am trying to synch a sysaid server with a static IP Address to be reached by URL Name. Has anyone been able to accomplish this and can a user who is not in the domain / ldap reach the Sysaid and login to create a service request?!?!?
Thank you in advance for your help,

Can SysAid automatically update the Asset name if the new name is changed? If not can that be accomplished?
