I'm trying to setup separate software products for current and old versions of the same product (i.e. Flash). When I go to select install names, I choose all but the most recent version of the software.
When I click apply, and go back into Install Names, the most recent version is also selected.
If I remove the most recent version, it removes all versions of that software.

Thanks. Not quite what I need, but I can work with that.

Hi,
I would like to generate a report to show how many tickets each admin has handled over the past year, grouped by month. Any guidance is appreciated, as I have no experience with the reporting module.

Thank you. We do not permit our end users to install software, so this is not an option for us. Looks like we'll have to do it manually.

To save you time and efforts, from version 5.0 and up, you can easily upgrade the SysAid agent without having to re-deploy SysAid to your network.
1.Go to Preferences->Asset Setting-> Asset Update
2. From the Command dropdown menu, choose Upgrade client version.
3. Choose which asset or asset group to run the upgrade on.
4. Set the date for the next upgrade.
5. Choose how often to repeat the automatic upgrade.
6. Click the Add button, or the Run Now button to upgrade immediately.
For instance, if you have SysAid 5.0.03 version, your client will be automatically upgraded to SysAid 5.0.06, even if the workstation is off.
I've followed these steps, and the individual agents for my machines have not updated. Does the end user need administrative rights in order for the agent to update?

Disregard. It seems that any agent older than 5.5.0.2 doesn't display in this list. My newer deployments are now showing up.

Bump, still not resolved

It's still not showing up. Any ideas?

OK, I've done that, but the field is empty in the asset list.

Is there an easy way to find out what agent version your PCs are using? The Agent deployment tool occassionally lists the versions, but it's not always accurate. Also, what's the easiest way to deploy a newer agent?
